Senior Technical Support Engineer working across marine hydrodynamics, coupled analysis, offshore operations and engineering software. Based in Norway.
Open to technical exchange
My work connects analysis methods with the decisions engineers make in real projects. Experience from renewables (FOWT, FPV and aquaculture), digitalization, marine systems, subsea installation (SURF) and software support (Sesam & Sima / OrcaFlex) gives me a practical view of how models, tools and people need to work together.
Today I support and train users of DNV Sesam, contributing marine-technology expertise to hydrodynamic, coupled analysis and structural analysis workflows in both time domain and frequency domain.
Technical support and training from frequency-domain concept studies to coupled time-domain analysis, hydrodynamic load generation and transfer to structural models.
Hydrodynamic and installation analysis for production systems, risers, umbilicals, cables and manifolds, informed by offshore execution experience.
Combining marine, structural and hydrodynamic perspectives with a strong understanding of DNV rules, standards and recommended practices to support sound engineering decisions.
Support, workflow development and automation at the intersection of marine-domain knowledge, simulation software and AI.
Hydrostatics, wave–structure interaction, radiation and diffraction, motions, loads and response.
System interaction across floaters, turbines, moorings, risers and cables.
Analysis grounded in lifting, lowering, subsea installation, decommissioning and offshore execution.
Frequency-domain screening, coupled time-domain analysis, load reconstruction and transfer.
Method selection, model debugging, clear troubleshooting and practical domain guidance.
Automated workflows and smart analysis for a large number of DLCs.
I work across specialised analysis tools, selecting the fidelity required by each project phase and connecting hydrodynamic, coupled and structural models into practical, traceable workflows.
